Warm maple syrup drizzling over piping hot pancakes is the stuff of Canadian fantasies. My husband, Christopher, is from Ontario, Canada and he takes his maple syrup seriously and in copious amounts. The first time I heated it up in one of these little pitchers for him was probably the closest he's been to nirvana.

Treat your family to warm maple syrup and you'll be able to sit back and bask in the silence while they stuff their faces with the deliciousness.

I like to simply pour syrup in the pitcher and pop it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and it's good to go straight to the table. The handle stays cool even while the syrup is piping hot. The little dent in the side of the pitcher beneath the handle allows a little extra room for your knuckles so they don't touch the heat. We like to think of every little details when designing something new.

It's not just great for heating up your maple syrup! You can use this kitchen gem as a pitcher for cream for coffee. Just pop it in the fridge for a couple hours and it will keep your cream chilled all the way through dessert.

We also love to use these for sauces. It's terrific for a homemade salad dressing or to make your bottle of store-bought italian dressing look extra fancy. No one will know you didn't whip it up by hand and we're not going to tell them.

The Christopher Pitcher and a container of 100% pure maple syrup make a fabulous hostess gift. It's a treat many people won't buy for themselves but will enjoy immensely!

Holds approximately 6-8 ounces when filled to the top or enough syrup for 4 people who like a generous serving.

After years of throwing all my pots on a wheel because I didn’t have the space for slab work and hand building I’m starting to rediscover the joy of hand building and the rustic elements it brings to functional ware.

The Wobble Bowls are making a fresh appearance on the website again. They small bowls are just the right size for all sorts of dishes from ice cream to pasta, salad and soup or plating beautiful food like Jason Michael Thomas and the larger bowl is perfect for serving 2-6 people a main dish or side dish. It’s also lovely as a centerpiece filled with fruit.

If your food is humble or glorious it will feel special. One of my favorite things about slow living and daily rituals is that even the mundane becomes elevated when you take the time to enjoy the entire experience.

Don’t forget, we have $5 flat rate shipping on all orders shipped in the continental United States!

The wobble bowls measure approximately 6” diameter and 2” high. The Wobble Serving Bowl measures approximately 11” diameter and 3.5” high. Each one is completely unique and shows the marks of the maker’s hands, delightful glaze variations and is an individual work of art.

With all the tools available in the studio, sometimes my own fingers are the tools of choice. When making this simple white planter, I realized that my fingertips were leaving a pleasing pattern in the clay that reminds me of the hand carved texture of my wooden coffee table. Curious how my fingerprints would show through the glaze I decided to roll with it, playing up the different shapes I could make with my fingertips while spanking the clay gently over the form.

While I do love a simple form, texture is always what captures my attention. The way this texture in the clay plays against different plants is endlessly fascinating to me. It adds a touch of simple sophistication and rustic elegance to the most humble houseplants or most beautiful, exotic plants.

Each planter is completely unique. You may not receive the exact planter in the photo but we're confident you'll love its individuality that makes it one of a kind.

Measures approximately 3.5" high x 4-4.25" diameter and includes a saucer to catch any drips and protect your tabletop.

If you want to pair it with The Tangle Paperweight/Oject d'art, you can find that right here.

Next to a sunny window is such a lovely spot for a touch of green in a home, studio or office. Several studies have shown that having house plants improves your focus, reduces carbon dioxide (obviously) and promotes relaxation. Detailed info on the science of house plants is a simple google search away. In the meantime, wouldn't your houseplant look even better in a handmade pot?

I've started growing grass in cute pots by the windows in our carriage house apartment because our kitties will eat any plant that is within reach. At least the grass is low maintenance and not going to cause any issues. If you have kitties, too, and want to grow some plants they shouldn't eat, you might try the hanging planters. We have some of each style in our apartment because to my thinking, you can never have too many house plants. If you can, I don't want to know what the limit is before I become a crazy plant lady.

Each planter comes with the saucer and measures approximately 4.5" across and 3.5-4" high. You may not receive the exact planter in the photo, but it will be the same style. Each one is completely unique and has its own special character.

Wondering about that tangled knot of clay sitting next to the planter with the grass? That's The Tangle. It started out as a paperweight but has become a favorite object d'art and you can find it here.

The Classic White Batik Centerpiece Tray is the perfect statement piece for your home or kitchen. Place it on your coffee table to wrangle your collection of remotes or serve up some dishes in the kitchen. Line up some ruby red apples, stack cheesy garlic bread for spaghetti dinner, or load it up with freshly glazed donuts.

Made of Kentucky dark stoneware for durability. It’s an elegant touch to your table, entertaining, or everyday use.

Gravesco Pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe! I personally prefer to hand wash my pottery. However, if you choose to use the dishwasher, I recommend placing your pots in the top rack or  where it won't vibrate or bang against other dishes.

Each piece of pottery is carefully wrapped and packed using recyclable materials (unless we are recycling packing materials we have received from someone else - nothing goes to waste) to ensure safe delivery.

A pretty plant hanging near the window has always seemed so charming to me. This hanging planter will work beautifully for any plants like air plants, spider plants, succulents and ivy.

Place a couple tablespoons of small gravel in the bottom of the pot for drainage (since there isn't a hole), then fill with the appropriate potting soil for your plant ensuring the dirt does not touch the twine as that can cause the natural jute twine to rot and break, place your plant in, water appropriately and enjoy.

Small Planter measures approximately 2.5-3" wide and 2-3" tall.

Each planter is handmade and may vary slightly from the one shown but will be similar. (Plant not included)

Sometimes a small bite is all you need. The Tasting Plate was designed specifically for Jason Michael Thomas to use for a small course at his farm to table dinners in downtown Indianapolis at the Urban Awareness Gardens.

Standing around the kitchen while he cooks, he hands over a tasting plate with a delicious morsel artfully displayed so we don't go hungry while waiting for the dinner to really ramp up in earnest. Sometimes it is a little bit of locally made cheese and flaky pastry, other times it is a bit of fresh veggie or bite of meat. At other times, I'll wander into his kitchen to find them used as mise en place (French for everything in its place) as he is preparing the meal. All the herbs, spices and garnishes are displayed on the dishes and ready for him to add to the dish without fumbling with containers in the midst of cooking.

Each set of 6 tasting plates will offer you plenty of possibilities from simple cheese and crackers, a cookie or cupcake, or your own culinary creation. Regardless, you're going to impress your friends because everything looks even more delicious on handmade pottery.

Each plate is completely handmade using our signature Kentucky brown clay and proprietary glazes mixed in the studio. Keep in mind that each one, as a result, will be slightly unique and that's what makes living with handmade pottery so fabulous. Each person in your household will gravitate to their favorite one.

As always, we offer $5 flat rate shipping on all orders in the continental United States.
