A pretty plant hanging near the window has always seemed so charming to me. This hanging planter will work beautifully for any plants like air plants, spider plants, succulents and ivy.
Place a couple tablespoons of small gravel in the bottom of the pot for drainage (since there isn't a hole), then fill with the appropriate potting soil for your plant ensuring the dirt does not touch the twine as that can cause the natural jute twine to rot and break, place your plant in, water appropriately and enjoy.
Large Planter measures approximately 4.5-5.5" wide and 3.5" tall.
Each planter is handmade and may vary slightly from the one shown but will be similar. (Plant not included)
$5 flat rate shipping on all orders in the continental United States!

Each bread baker will be made to order. Orders will be filled in the same order they are received. It takes 2-4 weeks to make a bread baker from beginning to end. We genuinely appreciate your patience during the making process. Like a good bread, good pottery takes time.
It's time to add a little oxygen-generating greenery to our homes after being stuck inside for so long.
Because we love helping out other artists, $5 from the sale of every Loft Planter in the month of April will be used to purchase Feed The Artists fresh food boxes from the Jason Michael Thomas drive up farm stand and gifted to artists in Indianapolis economically impacted by the global pandemic.
The Loft Planter is handmade on the potters wheel using a tan clay and the unglazed saucer is hand built for a little bit of the organic feel. There is a hole in the bottom of the pot for drainage.
Measures approximately 4.5-5" wide and 3.5-4" tall.
We love this size planter for some windowsill herbs or hardy succulents.
We have limited stock on hand. Once gone, we'll continue making them to order. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery! We're working in multiple studios around the city instead of in our main studio together which has certainly been an adventure! Your patience is deeply appreciated!
Let's be honest, we all love to help out other people when we can and this is a fun and lasting way to put food on the table of the creatives in Indianapolis that entertain and delight us all year 'round. Each week we'll be picking a winner from all the shared, tagged social media posts on Instagram and Facebook to send a free plague doctor gift to!

There is just something fun about working with clay to make a series of pots that all have subtle differences and then texturing them in whatever way strikes my fancy at the moment. Digging through my boxes of handmade stamps, finding mark making tools around the studio and just playing is part of the studio practice that I most look forward to.
The Artist’s Choice Unglazed Planter is hand built using a form I threw on my potter’s wheel then uniquely textured based on the textures that strike my fancy in the moment. No two are quite alike.
Made from a low fire earthenware clay, not dissimilar to what terracotta pots at the greenhouse are made of. It helps manage the moisture in the soil and lends a rustic and earthy touch in a modern interior.
Each planter has a little drainage hole in the bottom for watering and includes an unglazed saucer.
Measures approximately 2.5” high x 4.5” diameter. These little planters are terrific for a succulent-scape.
As part of the Artist’s Choice collection, the planter you receive will be a surprise! We’re going to choose one for you because that’s what this is all about!
One of the things I missed once we started growing as a studio was the time I used to spend just playing with new ideas. I can still do the playing now but the idea of photographing each individual piece, writing a description for the website, uploading it all, then managing all those one of a kind pieces was daunting. That’s how the Artist’s Choice was born! Several people have enjoyed choosing a mug, or a planter or a bowl because they love the collection and being surprised by which individual one arrives in their post. We hope you love the surprise, too!
$2 from the sale of each Artist’s Choice Unglazed Planter will be donated to our Feed The Artists initiative to help us feed more artists in Indianapolis economically impacted by Covid-19!
Every Plague Doctor purchase helps feed an artist in the Indianapolis area impacted by the pandemic happening in the world. $5 from every purchase will be used to purchase a fresh food box from Jason Michael Thomas at Urban Awareness Gardens and paid forward to artists who need some healthy whole foods. We've partnered with Jason Michael Thomas and Urban Awareness Gardens Indianapolis to make sure our creative crew is fed nourishing food so they can keep creating valuable and thoughtful content for the world to enjoy. The balance of the income from the shirts will be used for the actual cost, shipping and employing our crew of 8 artisans during this time of economic uncertainty.
And here's another cool thing, we're helping out even more people than just our 8 and the artists in Indianapolis. The stickers (and other printed merch) are all made here in the United States by other artisans who just need to keep their heads above water right now. The ripple effects of your purchase are bigger than just a cool shirt. You're making a difference.
This cool, fashionable update on the classic t-shirt is just what's needed for a sleek, modern look. The raw neck detail and relaxed fit is perfect for a casual everyday outfit that has a twist for those who appreciate the little things.

****Please note - the tshirts are printed on demand in the United States. We don’t keep them in stock, they’re made to order. The printer is experiencing unusually high demand and limited staff while they work to keep everyone as safe as possible. They’re collaborating with other printers across the United States to fill orders as quickly as possible. Please be patient and know we are checking in weekly on progress. Like us, they are filling orders in the same order they are received. Your pottery will arrive separate from your shirt as we’re shipping from different locations so you may receive one and not the other at the same time. We appreciate your patience! ***

Available for pre-order! (photos are of burners in progress.)
When I settle in to be creative I usually indulge in a little ritual. First I prepare something delicious to drink in a favorite handmade mug like some JMT Mulberry Tea then light an incense cone. There is something about the delicious beverage and scent of my favorite Nag Champa incense cone burning in my Goddess Incense Burner that allows me to relax into the process of designing something new.
When I was working in the corporate world, I needed a ritual to unwind at the end of a hectic and stressful day. Now I use the same ritual to transition from production into creativity.
Working with Deb of Flowering Moon, I've also learned a good deal about manifestation. She is generous with her sharing of the symbols of the divine feminine and how the Goddess plays into our history and modern day lives. The handmade pottery cone incense burner can be used for more than just incense, if you're so inclined. It's a wonderful little ritual hearth for burning sage, resin incense on a charcoal disc or burning small prayers and effigies as part of a ritual.
However you choose to use your Goddess Incense Burner and Ritual Hearth, I hope it enhances your day and eases your anxieties.
Each handmade ceramic lidded incense burner is thrown on my potters' wheel in a single piece. There is an opening at the back for inserting your favorite thing to burn and for cleaning. Once lit, the smoke draws through the hole in the top creating a visual feast for casual enjoyment or meditation.
Because each burner is unique, you may not receive the one in the photo, but you will receive a burner like it that has its own character. This is the best part of handmade! No two are alike.
Your Goddess Incense Burner and Ritual Hearth will include a small amount of silica sand to place in the bottom so the item burning is not directly on the ceramic surface. The bottom of the burner has been trimmed to allow as little surface as possible to touch your table but I still recommend that when burning you place it on a non-flammable surface that can withstand the heat of burning incense.
NOTE: the incense burner will be hot while burning and for a short time after. Do not move it while burning.
For cleaning you may use soapy water or your favorite method for cleansing your ritual tools such as smudging or rinsing with salted water.
Don't forget, we have $5 shipping on your entire order shipped within the continental United States!
Please allow 7-14 days for shipping as these are made one at a time in small batches.
Warm maple syrup drizzling over piping hot pancakes is the stuff of Canadian fantasies. My husband, Christopher, is from Ontario, Canada and he takes his maple syrup seriously and in copious amounts. The first time I heated it up in one of these little pitchers for him was probably the closest he's been to nirvana.
Treat your family to warm maple syrup and you'll be able to sit back and bask in the silence while they stuff their faces with the deliciousness.
I like to simply pour syrup in the pitcher and pop it in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and it's good to go straight to the table. The handle stays cool even while the syrup is piping hot. The little dent in the side of the pitcher beneath the handle allows a little extra room for your knuckles so they don't touch the heat. We like to think of every little details when designing something new.
It's not just great for heating up your maple syrup! You can use this kitchen gem as a pitcher for cream for coffee. Just pop it in the fridge for a couple hours and it will keep your cream chilled all the way through dessert.
We also love to use these for sauces. It's terrific for a homemade salad dressing or to make your bottle of store-bought italian dressing look extra fancy. No one will know you didn't whip it up by hand and we're not going to tell them.
The Christopher Pitcher and a container of 100% pure maple syrup make a fabulous hostess gift. It's a treat many people won't buy for themselves but will enjoy immensely!
Holds approximately 6-8 ounces when filled to the top or enough syrup for 4 people who like a generous serving.
Food safe. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe.

There is something so delightful about little pots. When you put a little succulent in a little pot it's like cute to the tenth power!
We also love to use these tiny handmade pottery planters for wheat grass, sprouting micro-greens and chia.
Each set of 3 tiny succulent planters includes one straight side, one cone, and one round planter in a single planter.
There is no hole in the bottom of these little planters but don't worry, all you have to do is put a little gravel in the bottom for drainage. When we water our succulents we douse them well then pour out the extra water into the sink so it isn't waterlogged. Just follow your watering instructions for your particular plant and you'll be fine!
As always, we have flat rate $5 shipping on your entire order in the continental United States.
