We love our neighborhood pollinators and have been enjoying the fruits of their labor all year round with the delicious foods from our friends' gardens and the amazing honey from our friends over at Eagle Creek Apiary (which has been amazing for helping my seasonal allergies, by the way).

The Speckled Bumble Tumbler Travel Cup is our celebration of those fabulous garden friends and we think the freckles in the clay that come through in the glaze add an extra touch of sweetness.

Each tumbler is handmade by our resident potter, Dusty Powell. There will be some variation from the travel mug pictured, but we promise you'll love its uniqueness. While you won't receive the exact mug in the photo, you'll receive one darn similar.

Each travel mug holds approximately 8-10 ounces of your favorite beverage. All of our pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe. The travel lid is 100% food grade silicone.

As always we offer $5 flat rate shipping on your entire order to anywhere in the continental United States.

THIS ITEM IS PRE-ORDER! Please keep in mind that each mug is a pre-order for a handmade piece of pottery. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

Oakmoss and lavender combine the deep earthy scent of moss growing on oak trees with the bright and fresh floral classic, lavender. It's simple and clean without being particularly feminine or masculine. We love that this soap is gender fluid and sure to please anyone who loves a clean earthy scent with a floral top note.

The Sea Salt added to this bar adds a gently exfoliating texture that dissolves and rinses cleanly from your skin.

Each bar of our handmade soap is fragranced enough to delight you when you use it but not so heavily scented that you'll be wearing it all day long. We like to think this just keeps us coming back for more.

Handmade soap is always a wonderful gift, stocking stuffer if you're planning ahead for the holidays, or treat for your coworkers who are probably as tired of harsh detergent as you are.

We love our handmade soaps for frequent hand washing without harsh chemicals but also use it in the tub for all over. I've even enjoyed it as a shampoo on my short hair.

If you haven't used handmade cold process soap before, you're in for a treat. If handmade soaps are old hat for you, get ready for a bar that is gently cleansing and filled with moisturizers.

For longest lasting results, keep your bar stored on a draining soap dish or wire rack so it completely dries out between uses. I like to cut each bar in half and keep one half in the linen cupboard to lightly scent my towels and keep it dry until I'm ready to use it.

Each hand cut bar is packed in a pure cotton muslin bag with a drawstring then wrapped with our label printed on French Paper Company paper. We love French Paper Company because they've been producing high quality paper for generations using hydro power close by in Niles, Michigan. Click here to learn more about their environmentally conscious paper production and how they power the whole town!

Harvest Bowl Gravesco Pottery Harvest Bowl Gravesco Pottery
Sale -21%
$ 75.00 $ 95.00

Serving a large salad or pasta requires a special bowl. Our handmade ceramic Harvest Bowl is equally at home loaded with your favorite family recipe and ready to serve as it is on the table or counter holding five pounds of apples, your latest garden harvest or with a loaf of bread rising before it goes in the oven.

A kitchen lover's dream bowl also happens to be an interior designer's favorite. The classic white glaze on natural tan clay looks beautiful on the dinner table or the coffee table.

Each bowl is handmade on the pottery wheel by Dusty, one of our resident potters. The clay is intentionally sourced nearby from our favorite female-owned clay maker and the glaze is mixed in our studio. Every step of the process is done by hand. From the time a bowl is just a simple lump of clay to its completion, it will go through the hands of eight artisans. You know that every time you purchase pottery from Gravesco Pottery that you're supporting artisans right here in Indianapolis and suppliers in the Midwest.

Measures approximately 11" diameter and 4" high.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.

$5 flat rate shipping in the continental United States.

Take your pick. If you’re an espresso drinker you’ll love this little handmade stoneware cup designed with the great team over at Tinker Coffee to be just the right size and shape for a double shot of your favorite roast. It’s Tinker Coffee, right? Everyone’s favorite small batch roasted coffee is Tinker. Isn’t it? WHAT!? You’ve never had Tinker Coffee? We can remedy that! Hop over to Tinker Coffee and order a bag. You can thank me later. In the meantime...

We’ve discovered that this espresso cup also makes a fantastic succulent planter so if you were thinking you’d only order one for your coffee, you might want to rethink that decision and get one for your plant, too.

Do you need some coffee to enjoy with your new cup? You can now purchase my favorite coffee from Tinker Coffee right here!

The signature Brown Bear clay from Kentucky Mudworks (another female owned business just a couple hours from the studio in Louisville, Kentucky) adds a textural delight to your espresso experience. The silky smooth glaze is a lovely juxtaposition to the velvety feel of the exposed raw clay.

As always, Gravesco Pottery is microwave and dishwasher safe though we always recommend that you hand wash for longevity just because in the dishwasher that jet stream of water can make things bang together and chip. That said, there are several beloved pieces of pottery that I’ve owned for a decade or more that made it through regular dishwashing with no problem because I was careful to place it where it couldn’t bang around against something else.

Each cup is individually thrown on the wheel and glazed by hand so it is normal to expect variations from cup to cup. The serendipity of the process is what we love so much about handmade pottery.

Don’t forget, we offer $5 flat rate shipping on your entire order in the continental United States.

Measures approximately 4" high and 3" diameter. Each honey pot is completely handmade and will vary slightly. The Abundance Bowl was designed to hold an abundance of whatever you want to fill it with. At 12" diameter and just shy of 3" high it is the ultimate centerpiece on your kitchen island or dinner table. It's large enough to hold at least 5 pounds of fresh crisp apples, pasta for 6 served family style, a salad that doesn't quit or you can fill it with balls of yarn on your coffee table like I have.

Whatever you choose to do with this extra large hand built ceramic bowl it's going to add grace and elegance to your home while making a statement.

The bowl is hand built from a slab of dark brown clay so it isn't going to be perfectly round or even. Some would call that wabi sabi, I like to say that this method of hand building allows you to see every mark the makers' hands put into the pot. It's timeless and classic and will add visual interest when paired with more precisely thrown pots on a table scape.

Microwave and dishwasher safe (though if you have a microwave that large, I'd love to see it!).

Living in the city I've missed the fresh scent of blooming lilacs that I enjoyed at our cottage in the country. In a quest for a lilac scent that doesn't smell like cloying perfume I stumbled across this lovely blend. It's delicate and subtle like lilacs in a gentle summer rain. As you wash, the lilac aura is released and matures in a way you may not notice just by smelling the bar on its own. It's a unique and soft floral that delights me every time I use it.
