Each handmade ceramic Oval plate is made from a single slab of clay that is turned up on the edges by hand. After it is made, dries for several days and goes through a 24 hour kiln cycle to 1600 degrees, it is hand painted by our glaze team and fired again, this time to 2230 degrees. It is made for durability and longevity.

Oven safe only if you put it into a cold oven before preheating to avoid temperature shock.
Decorative pottery for outdoors should be brought inside for freezing temperatures to ensure water doesn't freeze inside and cause cracking.
