An author found this lamp last year, made it part of his writing ritual, and shared it online. Fill it, light it, and write until the flame goes out. Other writers picked one up. They do the same thing.

The cream glaze carries a warmth that shifts in firelight. The rainbow drizzle is hand-painted on one side, every lamp a little different.

A handmade ceramic oil lamp for evening rituals, open flame light, and the hours you keep for yourself.

• Approximate dimensions: 3.5" diameter x 4" high (with wick) x 5.25" wide (with handle)
• Holds approximately 5–6 oz of lamp oil
• Fill 3/4 full with lamp oil or citronella oil
• Adjust wick to 1/8"–1/4" above the wick holder and let it saturate a few minutes before lighting
• Cotton wick is installed and lasts through regular use
• Lamp oil not included
• Dishwasher safe; hand washing recommended due to the narrow neck
• Not microwave safe
• Wheel thrown and finished by hand, one at a time
• Durable glaze for daily use
• Always lead-free
