This year's event will be funding our studio move.
That's right! We're moving the studio!Â
The store is staying right where it is! Just the studio is moving.
In August of 2019 I signed a 5 year lease on a huge studio in an industrial building in the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. We needed every inch of space!
A few short months later the world came to a halt in March 2020 and since then we've been scrambling to keep up, waiting out the lease and being scrappy to make ends meet.
The lease is almost over and we are moving our entire production under the same roof as our store on E Michigan Street. This means we'll be saving thousands of dollars a month in expenses, will be able to better serve our community and our team, and we can set our small business up to thrive instead of survive.
Our goal is to sell $20,000 worth of pottery at our Big Pottery Sale. When we do that, we'll have enough to cover our expenses for the move including upgrades for electrical, ventilation, air filtration and flooring to support the pottery production.
The cool thing about the move is that now you'll be able to peer in and see us actually making the pottery when you stop by the shop.

FAQ about the sale
- the sale is in store only - it would take us hundreds of hours to photograph, measure, write product descriptions, pack and ship the pots. At these sale prices that would mean losing money and we simply can't afford that.
- the pottery in the sale will all be between $2 and $40! There are SERIOUS deals
- bring a friend! or four! The more the merrier
- arrive early! The best choices are for those who arrive early
- don't worry about cash - it's so much faster for us to check you out if you use a card, Apple Pay or Google pay!
- we appreciate it if you bring bags, too, or boxes - but you don't have to
- prices will be color coded to make things easy and we'll have signs in the store
- $2 yellow/gold
- $5 green
- $10 red/purple
- $15 pink/magenta
- $20 brown/tan
- $25 orange
- $30 black
- $40 blue
- the main store will be open, too, if there's something new you'd like to pick up there. The main store will not be discounted - only the 2nd and 3rd rooms
- if you haven't already signed up for the VIP list, do that now so you can earn points on your purchases!
- we'll be releasing a limited amount of mystery boxes for our VIP members who can't make it to the event -- they will be first come first serve and available for 24 hours to our VIP list before we make them available to everyone else
