Some things are too useful to stay in one place.
This little cauldron disappears into a pocket before a walk in the woods, ready to bring home a smooth stone, an acorn, a feather, or a handful of water from the creek. Back at the house it burns cone incense, keeps my money bowl company, or holds herbs waiting for whatever comes next.
Then, just as easily, it's filled with trail mix on the porch or a wee dram of mulled cider after the sun has gone down.
I've stopped trying to decide whether it's for ritual or for snacks.
