The facets on this cup weren't planned on paper. They were cut by hand at the exact moment the clay could hold them — not too wet, not too dry. There's a window, and it closes fast. What's left is a surface that catches light differently depending on where you're sitting, soft cream glaze pooling in the angles and settling the geometry into something quiet.
Low and wide, with a loop handle that sits easy in your hand. A tea cup for someone who notices that kind of thing.
