Oven safe only if you put it into a cold oven before preheating to avoid temperature shock.
Decorative pottery for outdoors should be brought inside for freezing temperatures to ensure water doesn't freeze inside and cause cracking.

So, we love these Napkin Rings - and I was disappointed when my original order was sent with 4, instead of the 8 I thought I ordered. I knew they would go well with our Holly Pottery (Monroes Saltworks, Maine). Luckily, Gravesco made it right and sent the missing Napkin Rings and they got here in time to set the Christmas table.
